Statement Ogród nocny (Nocturnal garden) is a scene of a garden bursting with life and pollinated at night. It is populated with flowering plants, animals and animal-human hybrid beings. The creatures are congregated around and drawn to glistening planet-like seeds and bulbs.
Bartłomiej Hajduk is a Polish artist living and working in London. His practice spans drawing, painting and sculpture, and is informed by the realm of personal fantasies, spirituality, religion, cosmology, and relationship with the natural world. His works are a love letter to the world of plants, animals and astronomical cycles.
